Please lend your voice to the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND’s) email-to-target campaign which will connect Naturopathic Doctors, students, and patients with their local Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) and Hon. Dr. Eric Hoskins, Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. The emails will help inform MPPs of the concerns that Naturopathic Doctors and students of Naturopathic Medicine have with the proposed regulatory amendments to the Laboratory and Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act, 1990 and the proposed Controlled Acts regulation the implications these two regulations have for the practice of Naturopathic Medicine and the care you will be able to provide to our patients post-proclamation.
With proclamation of the Naturopathy Act, 2007 on the horizon, it is imperative that everyone lend their voice to ensure maintenance of scope of practice for Naturopathic Doctors and continuity of care for patients.
