| Biography - Dr. Maria Papasodaro, ND
Maria Papasodaro holds a Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Toronto; and in 2007, received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine diploma from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). As part of her clinical internship, she worked at Queen West Health Center in Toronto. This clinic taught her to truly listen to patient's concerns and develop treatment plans with various hands on therapies in a cost effective manner.
While studying at CCNM, she was the president of the Naturopathic Student Ambassador Program. This program focused on educating high school students about naturopathic medicine and healthy living. Maria is certified in Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture. She is a college professor teaching human anatomy and physiology at Centennial college. Maria is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
She is a specialist in natural medicine and preventative health-care, integrating scientific knowledge with traditional healing wisdom. She considers the mind, body and spirit of the person when making a treatment assessment to assist the whole person in maximizing the body's inherent self-healing capacity.
